I guess you could say real estate is in Keith’s blood. In fact, at the early age of 12, Keith found his family a home while riding home from school on his bike. Knowing his parents wanted to move to a larger house, and fearing they would move out of his current school district, he encouraged his mom and dad to go see the house. About a month later, they closed.
Officially, Keith began his real estate career after finishing college at Louisiana State University in 1990. A native Texan, Keith moved Dallas, obtained his real estate license and began working as a Marketing Officer in the Special Assets Division of Am West Savings Association. Keith was responsible for the management and disposition of over 2,000 foreclosed residential and commercial properties through out the state of Texas. Within one year, he was promoted as the Director of Marketing for the Single Family Department where he over saw a staff of Asset Managers and Marketing Officers. Keith was responsible for the design and implantation of marketing strategies geared for the sale of a real estate portfolio in excess of $485,000,000.
Cox was appointed Sales Manager of Whiteside Associates in Dallas, Texas in 1993, making him the youngest Sales Manager in the City of Dallas. Responsible for the recruitment, training and management of over 40 sales associates, Keith was integral in the success of the company in becoming one of the most predominant independent real estate companies in Dallas. Soon afterwards, Keith became one of the top producers in only a six month time period by expanding the company’s presence beyond the East Dallas / Lakewood areas, by marketing and selling North Oak Cliff.
In 1995, Keith moved to Atlanta, GA and quickly established himself as the top producer of Coldwell Banker and was ranked in the top 5 company wide. Capitalizing on the spur of development brought on by the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta, Keith began working with developers and experienced great success in representing builders in new construction and condominium conversion projects.
In 1999, Keith returned home to Dallas and has remained one of the cities top producing agents with an average production of over $25,000,000 per year and is currently ranked in the top 1% worldwide. Keith capitalized on his previous development experience and has worked on many successful projects here in Dallas, such as One Arts Plaza, Trinity Townhomes, Lake Cliff Tower, Kessler Woods, 1505 Elm, and Buzz Condominiums.
His love for real estate and complete understanding of all aspects, Keith developed the concept of Cox360. 360 is not about being all things to all people, it is about having a complete understanding of what you do, and doing it well.
